Which processes should be automated first?
High-volume, rule-heavy work with a clean definition of done — intake, document collection, status updates and recurring reporting. Judgement-heavy work is a later phase, usually as assistance rather than automation.
What is the difference between automation and AI?
Automation executes a rule you already know. AI produces a judgement you would otherwise make by hand. Most durable systems use automation for the path and AI only at the step that requires interpretation.
Will automation replace staff?
In our mid-market engagements it usually absorbs growth instead: the same team handles more files. Where roles change, the training program is scoped in the same phase.
How long does a first automation take?
Typically four to ten weeks from baseline measurement to production, depending on how many systems must be integrated and how clean the permissions model is.
